The Odessa North Area
Ever since oil was first discovered here in 1927, this area has grown to become the heart of Texas‘ busy oil and natural gas region in the western part of the state. Convenient to Midland Airport 15 miles away, we’re called the Permian Basin for the rich underground sedimentary deposits. Whether your travels are for business or pleasure, you may want to do a little exploring around town - read on, there's plenty to see just minutes from our front door. We hope you will make our stylish, brand new hotel your base during a stay in the area. Comfortable accommodation, friendly staff, value-added amenities, and a welcome for traveling pets are our pleasure to provide at our 100% non-smoking location.
Top attractions of nearby Midland include the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center, a striking venue for traveling Broadway productions, concerts, dance, opera, more. The Petroleum Museum and Museum of the Southwest offers insights into the business of the region and the history of the region. The American Airpower Heritage Museum is Smithsonian-affiliated and tells the story of World War II military aviation in a compelling way that children can appreciate, and with some fun around the nose art displays. Odessa North Attractions
Odessa may carry the namesake of a Ukranian city, but actually this place has a bit of British flair going on. In fact, we’ve got a replica of The Globe Theatre for local productions on an Elizabethan-style stage. The Shakespearean theme continues on the campus of Odessa College, where a replica of Anne Hathaway’s Cottage exists. Even more curious, on the campus of the University of Texas, we’ve got a somewhat scaled-down replica of Stonehenge. Come see, admission is free. For fun with the kids, the aptly named Fun City will have them giggling over the 18-hole miniature golf, maneuvering hairpin turns in go-karts, and managing some virtual action in the video arcade.
